Lead Pastor
Pastor Mitchell & Marron Moore

Mitchell was born and raised in Little Rock, AR. Mitchell’s intent was always to attend medical school to become a neurosurgeon. His life was forever changed after being in a van accident that killed three of his friends. He spent much time in and out of hospitals at which several of his doctors were graduates of Dallas Theological Seminary. During this time, the Lord began tugging on Mitchell’s heart to pursue seminary training at DTS and removed his desire to work on the minds of men to working on the hearts of men.
While in Dallas pursuing his Master of Theology he met and married his Ethiopian princess, Marron. At the time, Marron was serving in a college ministry and finishing her undergrad in English. After completing college, Marron became a school teacher and experienced some of the most rewarding moments of her life. During their time in Texas, Mitchell and Marron helped serve at Lifeline Bible Fellowship, a church plant in Denton. Marron also went on to complete her Master's in Family Studies. In 2009, the Moores received an opportunity to go through a church planting residency program through Fellowship Associates and moved to Little Rock, AR. With Mitchell back in his hometown, they have since been planning and preparing for the launch of Community Church.
Mitchell says, “returning to Little Rock to plant a church was not part of my future. But in recent years, God has made it increasingly clear that this is what He wants me to do. Today, establishing Community Church is the irresistible passion of my life.”
